Museveni's son Muhoozi Kainerugaba has caused a storm on Twitter after controversial tweets about capturing Nairobi.

Uganda President Yoweri Museveni's son Muhoozi Kainerugaba on Monday, October 3, caused a storm Twitter after sensationally claiming it would take less than two weeks to capture Nairobi.

In a series of tweets that could cause a diplomatic tiff between Uganda and Kenya, Muhoozi said he would capture Nairobi in less than two weeks and proceeded to ask where he would live.

"It wouldn't take us, my army and me, 2 weeks to capture Nairobi. After our army captures Nairobi, where should I live? Westlands? Riverside?

"My Kenyan brothers, we are going to be one country. Any war against us will end quickly. The borders that were established by the colonisers mean nothing to us revolutionaries. Nairobi," he stated.

He later followed up with another tweet stating that he was glad he had scared Nairobinas.

A section of leaders, journalists, and netizens hit back at Muhoozi telling him to deal with the Ebola outbreak first in Uganda.

Here are the reactions;

"My Friend wewe kula matoke na deal na Ebola wacha vitisho ya pesa nane kwani sisi hatuna Jeshi ya kulinda nchi yetu utakuja tu uchukue Nairobi hivyo. Sio raisi," Mike Sonko tweeted.

CNN journalist Larry Madowo told Muhoozi; 'Maybe start with Joseph Kony first?  Kony, who is a Ugandan militant who founded the Lord's Resistance Army, has been on the run since 2005 when the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an international arrest warrant against him.
