The High Court of Kenya has upheld the jailing of Sirisia MP John Waluke  for 67 years.

She said the charges against Waluke and Grace Wakhungu before trial Magistrate Elizabeth Juma were proved beyond reasonable doubt.

"The sentences were not excessive. They are within the law. Conviction and sentences affirmed," she ruled.

Waluke had been found guilty of fraud involving  the millions in shady maize dealings with National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB).

Waluke had been slapped with Sh727 million fine while Grace Sarapay Wakhungu was fined Sh707 million.

The judge ruled that Waluke will have to pay the fines or get back to prison.
