Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has asked a section of candidates shortlisted for the positions of Principal Secretaries in President William Ruto's government to remain in opposition.

In a tweet on Monday, October 10, the lawmaker said that some of the shortlisted candidates never believed in President Ruto, and they openly insulted him.

Cherargei said that some candidates who supported Azimio-OKA made it to the shortlist, claiming that loyalty should be rewarded first.

He added they should remain in opposition so as not to sabotage the Head of State's administration, which he termed 'God given'.

"On the shortlisted PSs have seen some Azimio-OKA apologists who didn't believe in Ruto Presidency and insulted him, let them remain in opposition not to sabotage our God given govt and no recycling. Loyalty to Ruto must be absolute to serve government and Kenyans," Cherargei stated.
