The President has appointed the former Citizen TV news anchor as the new State House Spokesperson.

President William Ruto has appointed former Citizen TV news anchor Hussein Mohamed as the new State House spokesperson.

In a press statement on Friday, October 14, by Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua, the President also appointed Felix Koskei as the new Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service.

Former Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok was appointed the Deputy Chief of Staff.

The President also appointed Katoo Ole Metito as the new State House Comptroller, taking over from Kinuthia Mbugua.

In another appointment, the Head of State appointed David Mugonyi as the Head of the Presidential Communication Service.

Dr. David K. Ndii – Chairperson, President's Council of Economic Advisors

Dr. Augustine Cheruiyot – Senior Advisor and Head of Economic Transformation Secretariat

Dr. Kamau Thuge – Senior Advisor and Head of Fiscal Affairs and Budget Policy

Mohammed Hassan – Member, President's Council of Economic Advisors

Dr Nancy Laibuni – Associate Member, President's Council of Economic Advisors
