The President has announced 51 nominees for principal secretaries in various state departments.

President William Ruto has announced names of 51 individuals nominated for Principal Secretary jobs in various state departments.

In a statement on Wednesday, November 2, by Head of Public Service Felix Koskei, the 51 names were submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and appointment.

"The Presidential Action is pursuant to Article 155 (3)(a) of the Constitution by dint of Executive Action, the nomination have been transmitted to the National Assembly for the consideration and approval by Parliament with the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act (No. 33 of 2011)," read part of the statement signed by Koskei.

Among the notable names on the list were former Lang'ata MP Nixon Korir and former Education PS Belio Kipsang.
