After brokering the Ethiopian peace deal, Uhuru called on African countries to embrace talks whenever in crisis to avoid war.

Controversial Lawyer Miguna Miguna is up in arms with Former President Uhuru Kenyatta over comments he made after brokering a peace deal among the warring sides in Ethiopia.

Miguna in a tweet fired at the ex-president accusing him of using violence against his opponents, ostensibly, saying he cannot purport to be against the act he 'cherished' using while serving as president.

"Hypocrite! In Kenya, he used violence against his opponents. He tried to IMPOSE a renegade coward as a president. He refuses to recognize a popularly elected president. Now, he pontificates in Pretoria, the headquarters of anti-African racism!" He tweeted.

After brokering the Ethiopian peace deal, Uhuru called on African countries to embrace talks whenever in crisis to avoid war.

He said peace cannot be obtained through bullets and violence adding there is a need to pacify Africa and the rest of the world.

Miguna's grudge against Uhuru comes after he was subjected to forced exile in 2018 and only managed to come back to Kenya after President William Ruto took the oath of office.

"Violence, bullets and guns would not be the solution, ultimately, as it has been the case with the warring Ethiopia today. The lasting solution can only come through engagement. People sit and agree they have differences because they do, but agreeing the lasting solution can only be through political engagement and dialogue and being able to agree that we can be able to accommodate our differences and diversity," he said.

Uhuru was among the African envoys who brokered a deal among the warring groups of Ethiopia.
