Musalia Mudavadi called on government leaders living in the past and trading blames to desist and serve Kenyans.

Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has implored elected leaders to shelve blame game and serve Kenyans.

The former ANC leader observed that trading blames in the public was taking up the time for development and that time would soon lapse before much is achieved.

Mudavadi called on his fellow leaders to desist from living in the past and rather live up to the expectations Kenyans have placed on them.

He spoke on Saturday, November 5, in Turkana county, where he had accompanied President William Ruto to issue relief food to locals stricken by hunger as draught continues to ravage.

"This blame game will not help. Elections are over Now, we must put that behind us because if we continue engaging in the blame game, the currency will end faster than we imagine. We must now move away from the blame game to service delivery," he said.

Mudavadi's call comes at a time Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has been sustaining attacks on former president Uhuru Kenyatta whom he accuses of destroying the country.

Also on Rigathi's guillotine has been opposition leader Raila Odinga whom he accuses of working in cahoots with Uhuru to devastate the country's economy.

Speaking in Kajiado on Saturday, Rigathi accused Raila of bringing damage to Uhuru's second term after he supposedly incorporated himself.

"The old man destroyed Uhuru and his government. Uhuru was a useful leader, he was focused on transforming this country. But when he (Raila) joined him, the president lost focus. We no longer need him to lecture us on how to run this country. He should sit back and watch us transform this country. What we're interested in is his oversight, not his advice," the deputy president fired at Raila.
