The PS nominee said he has Land and property spread across Kajiado, Machakos and Homa Bay counties.


Interior PS nominee Raymond Omollo has disclosed that his net worth stands at Sh450 million.

Appearing before by a parliamentary committee to be vetted for the role, Omollo disclosed that his net worth spreads close land ownership and shares at the Nairobi Stock exchange.

The PS nominee said he has Land and property spread across Kajiado, Machakos and Homa Bay counties.

"I also have investments in stock... interest in farming and mining," he said.

He appeared before the National Administration and Internal Affairs Committee of the National Assembly on Monday for vetting.

11 PS nominees are expected to be vetted today. The PS nominees will face their respective committees for vetting.

Between 9 am and 11 am, Cabinet Affairs PS Julius Korir, his Crops and National Treasury counterparts Philip Harsame and Chris Kiptoo were vetted.

The three appeared before Administration and Internal Affairs committee, Agriculture committee and Finance and Planning committee respectively.

Livestock’s Development’s Harry Kimutai and Economic Planning’s James Muhati will face the same committees between 11.30 am and 1.30 pm.

Citizen Services PS nominee Julius Bitok and Medical services PS pick Peter Tum will be vetted by the Administration and Internal Affairs committee and Health committee respectively between 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm.

The last nominees to be vetted on Monday are Aurella Rono and Josephine Mburu who have been picked as Parliamentary Affairs PS and Health standards PS respectively.
