The actor described Kenya as the best destination he has ever been to.

Renowned Australian actor Christopher Hemsworth was in Kenya for a brief expedition.

The 40-year-old who rose to prominence playing Kim Hyde in an Australian television series was accompanied by his wife and their children.

Taking to Twitter, Hemsworth was grateful for the hospitality accorded to him during the tour.

He suggested that Kenya was the best destination he had ever been to.

"One of the most memorable trips to Kenya my family and I have ever had. Thank you to @africa.born @samstogdale @seandarnborough for taking care of us!" he said.
