Gachagua’s remarks come a month after nominated Senator Karen Nyamu was caught on video having an altercation with Samidoh and his first wife at a Dubai club.
Following the incident, the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) disciplinary committee summoned Nyamu over her actions.
The nominated senator was ordered to appear before the committee on December 23, 2022, but failed to turn up and instead sent her lawyer who asked for more time.
She appeared before the UDA disciplinary committee on Friday, January 20 but was given more time to respond to allegations against her.
“Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu today appeared before the UDA disciplinary Committee chaired by Charles Njenga. The senator was allowed more time to respond to the allegations levelled against her by a party member. The committee adjourned the matter to 9.00 am on 24th February,” the UDA party stated.
