TV47 unveiled its new state-of-the-art studios in Muthaiga. 

TV47 owned by Cape Media Group on Tuesday, July 18 relaunched and unveiled their new state-of-the-art studios in Muthaiga, Nairobi County.

The TV station also unleashed new renowned news anchors and reporters in a move to set the bar high in the broadcast media space. 

The latest additions include Fred Indimuli, Grace Kuria, George Maringa, Victor Mukayane, and Hibaq Said. 

Others are; Sheila Chelangat, Dennis Otieno, Andrine Kilemi, Joash Onsare, Flora Limukii, Eric Munene, Elizabeth Mutuku, Stanley Nyarigita, Linda Alela, and Paul Kirobi.

The relaunch was presided over by ICT and Digital Economy Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo.

Speaking during the event, CS Owalo expressed his delight at TV47 for embracing technology in the current digital landscape.

“In an era of rapid technological advancement where news is often consumed through digital platforms, TV47 is adapting to the changing landscape while following its key mandate and core values. With this relaunch we should witness a fusion of traditional broadcasting and cutting-edge digital innovations,” he stated.

The ICT CS urged the media to work together with the government as partners for the well-being of the Kenyan society.

“By working together we can foster a constructive and productive relationship that benefits our nation as a whole. We need to look at ourselves as partners. Integral partners with mutually beneficial roles and mandates for the good and well-being of the Kenyan society,” he added.
