"Our 7-year relationship and our journey as parents has faced challenges and there have been conflicts that escalated into fights."

Kenyan singer Judith Nyambura Mwangi, popularly known as Avirl, has opened up on allegations of being physically assaulted by her baby daddy Jibril Blessing (J Blessing).

Speaking on her relationship with J Blessing, Avril noted that they have had a couple of moments where they have disagreed.

"I acknowledge that our seven-year relationship and our journey as parents to an amazing little boy has faced challenges and there have been conflicts that escalated into fights," she said.

"We recognize the need for change and are committed to seeking help and learning healthier ways to communicate and resolve issues. Our mutual goal is to create a more positive and supportive environment for each other, fostering understanding and growth."

At the same time, Avril spoke on the reactions her alleged assault has generated on social media noting that she has received massive ridicule from some people and at the same time a show of love and solidarity from others.

She went on to say she has forgiven J Blessing and asked Kenyans aware of the incident to also forgive him.

"My heart is so heavy that I had to tell the world my business. Yes I saw the ridicule about me deserving of everything I have gone through in my lifetime and I am sure there will be more ridicule, But I also saw the outpouring of messages of love and support," Avril stated.

"I forgive you J, please find it in your hearts to forgive him too. Everyone is deserving of forgiveness in this life."

Avril further trashed Kenyans alleging that the whole issue is about clout chasing.

She noted that she is also not seeking sympathy over the matter.

"The matters are with the relevant authorities and, I am doing Okay, Just don't want my heart to be laden with an unforgiving weight on it," she added.
