  • Tecra Muigai died on May 2, 2020, after allegedly falling off a staircase at a Lamu hotel where she was with her boyfriend Omar Lali.

Keroche heiress and businesswoman Anerlisa Muigai has insisted that her late sister Tecra Muigai was murdered.

In a post seen by Nairobi Leo, Anerlisa claimed that she was sure her sister did not fall on the stairs as is publicly known.

She went on to give further insight that Tecra's skull was broken and could only be caused by a serious car accident or an object.

"Btw shit I’ll never get over is my sister’s death because I am very sure she did not fall on the stair case… One thing people are not aware is that she was broken the hardest bone in a human body. That bone can only be broken by two things. 1, serious car accident 2, somebody using an object on you," said Anerlisa.

She noted that late Tecra was always aware of what was going on even when she went out drinking and she never got to a point where she would be unconscious.

"My sister was very sober and even if she drunk she was very aware of what was happening. She never got to the point where she was unconscious. So to go straight to the point “My Sister was brutally murdered” Period!!!!!!" she said.

Tecra Muigai died on May 2, 2020, after allegedly falling off a staircase at a Lamu hotel where she was with her boyfriend Omar Lali.

She succumbed to injuries sustained from the fall.

Following her demise, the family sought for an inquest to establish the exact cause of her death after Dr Barack Mubarak who attended to Tecra at King Fahad Hospital in Lamu said the impact from the fall was heavy, suggesting that there could have been a force behind it.

The same was supported by Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor.

"The injuries were unlikely to have been caused by a single impact. To my opinion this observation indicates both blunt object injury as well as a possible fall," said Oduor who also testified in the inquest.
