Kalonzo says by Raila accepting to be the ODM flagbearer, he breached their agreement because he was to back his bid in the 2022 polls.

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyojka has revisited his agreement with the ODM leader Raila Odinga in the build up to the 2017 elections.

In a statement at his Wiper command centre on Tuesday morning, the Wiper boss revealed that they signed a legally binding agreement that will see the ODM leader back him for president y in the 2022 polls.

It is during the press conference that he revealed he failed to attend the ODM NDC at the Kasarani because that will amount to supporting Raila yet their agreement was, Raila was to back him.

"By Accepting the nomination of ODM to run as president for the 5th time, I believe Raila Odinga has committed an irreparable material breach of this agreement," he said.

In the same press conference, Kalonzo said he is willing to engage with Raila if only the legal document he signed with him in the 2017 polls becomes a subject of the negotiations.
