The company has been facing a tough time owing to spates of road accidents involving its vehicles.


Modern Coast Express Limited has made alternative arrangements for customers who had booked to travel with its busses. 

This follows a revocation of their licenses as communicated by Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen.

In a notice to its customers, Modern Coast said those who had booked advance tickets with them should avail themselves for travel at the time they had booked.

The company said they have made arrangements to ensure those who had planned to travel do so without fail.

"If you had booked advance tickets to travel with us this January, please note that arrangements have been made to enable you to travel to your respective destinations conveniently. Report at our booking and parcel offices near you on the date and time indicated on your ticket," the Company said in a Facebook post.

An accident involving its bus in Kisii left one pedestrian dead and several others injured.

Another of its bus was involved in an accident that left six people dead in Uganda. The accident was a result of a head-on collision with a Rwandese bus.
