Ruto has been making appointments to various boards of key parastatals.

President William Ruto has yet again made key changes in State Agencies, a move that has seen appointees of his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta kicked out of office.

In a gazette notice dated February 11, the President has appointed Simon Muyumba Indimuli to the State Corporations advisory committee as the secretary of the board.

Indimuli will serve for a period of three years. Uhuru’s appointee Wanjiku Wakogi has been shown the door.

Further, the President named Sylvanus Maritim the new non-executive Chairperson of the board of the Information and Communications Technology Authority.

He will equally serve for a period of three years beginning February 24. He takes over from Fredrick Owino.

At the Capital Markets Authority, Treasury CS Njuguna Ndungu has also appointed five people as board members to serve for three years.

They are Natasha Awuor, Elena Natalia, Meshack Moses, Gibson Kimani and Michael Bowen.

"The appointments of John Kipkosgei, Freshia Mugo, Mark Bichachi, Eli Kamau and Peter Mungai are revoked," the notice reads.

Ruto named Ugas Mohamed the board chairperson for three years, replacing Nick Nesbit.

Ruto since taking power has been reorganising the government by appointing people he believes will help implement his agenda for the country.

After appointing the Cabinet and Principal Secretaries, Ruto has been making appointments to various boards of key parastatals.
