The radio journalist was taken to ICC alongside President William Ruto for crimes against humanity.

Veteran Radio journalist Joshua Arap Sang has quit Mediamax NetworkLimited where he was a breakfast show host at Emoo FM. 

Sanga announced on Friday that he has called it quits being on Radio hinting that he could be moving to something else.

"Today is my last day working as a radio broadcaster. It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to you. I cannot thank you enough for the lessons you’ve taught me and the friendship you’ve so freely given. I will miss working with you and engaging with you," he posted on Facebook.

For Sang, It has been 24 years journey that began in radio Sayare in 1999, through Biblia Husema in 2003, KASS FM in 2005, and now ending at EMOO FM owned by Mediamax Network Limited.

"To my media max staff, I wish you all great things, I may no longer be able to call you my colleagues or my fans listeners but I leave with friends, memories, and lessons learned from each of you. It’s been a pleasure getting to know and working with you during my time in the media," he went on to say.

"To Emoo Fm and Media max teams, I never thought this day would come, but here we are! It was an honour to work in this company and get to know each one of you."

He, however, did not reveal his next assignment now that he has left the media after working for 24 years.

The radio journalist became more popular after he was taken to ICC alongside President William Ruto for crimes against humanity. over their role in the 2007/2008 post-election violence.

The charges were however later withdrawn.
