President Ruto is one of the Kenyan politicians who don’t drink alcohol.

City lawyer Donald Kipkorir has revealed that President William Ruto pulled down a bar he found in State House.

In an update via his Facebook page on Friday, April 21, Kipkorir said he was invited by President Ruto to State House on Thursday.

During his engagement with the Head of State, he asked for a glass of wine but was told the bar was pulled down.

“I asked for a glass of wine & he told me he pulled down the bar that was there. I was given delicious short-ribs without wine! It was a humbling experience meeting the President & repairing our friendship,” he revealed.

Kipkorir who was a critic of President Ruto ahead of the 2022 general election also revealed that they discussed the Kenyan economy.

“President William Ruto also informed me of his vision to transform the country in line with the Asian Tigers & that he was going to strengthen our bilateral relations with them. I implored him to also emulate Thailand 5.0 Economic Plan,” he added.

President Ruto is one of the Kenyan politicians who don’t drink alcohol. In September 2022 he advised Members of Parliament to either reduce drinking alcohol or stop.
