Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has revealed that he has not invited former President Uhuru Kenyatta to the launch of his book.
Speaking to Citizen TV on Wednesday, Duale explained that while they are still friends with Uhuru, he did not see the need to invite him to his book launch.
Duale will Thursday launch his book dubbed For the Record which highlights political happenings during his era as majority leader.
The Defence CS said Uhuru's recent political activities in the country made him not invite him.
"After I saw how President Kenyatta behaved at the Jubilee offices, I can't invite him. He can disrupt my function and you know he is my buddy so I cannot remove him forcefully. I told him I'm going to deliver this book to him and see how I can help him," he said, apparently in jest.

In the same interview, the CS weighed in on the Northlands City invasion which saw his sheep stolen.
He suggested that he is willing to donate some goats to him following the theft that occurred on the farm.
"I'm a pastoralist and I have got enough sheep in one of my farms, I can donate. When you are a livestock farmer when an animal gets sick or you lose it, it feels like you lost a child, it's very sentimental," Duale said.
"So I can imagine when Uhuru saw his sheep being taken, he felt it."
