According to Mutua, he met the late in 1999 at Kenyatta market and has since then worked with him to date.

He described him as not just a barber but a family member.

"I have followed him to many Barber shops to date. He is the only barber who has cut my hair in Kenya (including just last Thursday). He was a man that I practically considered family," he added.

Mutua said the deceased was found with a higher blood pressure that seemed to have gotten out of hand.

At the time of his demise, the barber was 55 years old. Mutua has pledged to support the family of the late even as they prepare to lay to rest their kin.

"Rest In Peace, my dear friend. I will ensure that your children duly complete their studies. My sincere condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time of grief. Ni Mapenzi yake mwenyezi Mungu," he said.
