Former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Roots Party leader George Wajackoya and his DAP-K counterpart Eugene Wamalwa on Friday led Azimio supporters in holding demos called by ODM leader Raila Odinga.
The protests witnessed in Luanda Town, in Vihiga county, saw transport services paralysed along the Kisumu-Busia Highway.
Locals who took part in the demos raised concerns over the high cost of living occasioned by fuel price increases and other factors.
In Kisumu at the same time, locals took to the streets en mass to heed Raila's call for demos.

Raila had asked his supporters to come out in large numbers and push for change even as they voice their concerns over tough living conditions.
Raila, Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua are set to hold parallel protests this Friday.
Raila will be at Kamukunji grounds where he is expected to address his supporters ahead of the planned march to the Central Business District.
Police have however warned that street protests would not be allowed and that CBD is out of bounds,
