" Leo Roma yetu inaitwa Central Park, karibu na Serena hotel. Tukitoka hapa na tuzuiliwe kupita tupite njia zingine mpaka tufike."

Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga has announced that the Saba Saba protest rally will continue at Central Park in Nairobi.

Speaking at the Kamukunji grounds on Friday, July 7, Raila asked his supporters to use different roads to get into Central Park.

“Kuna njia mingi ya kuenda Roma, Wakizuia hapa tunapita pale. Leo Roma yetu inaitwa Central Park, karibu na Serena hotel. Tukitoka hapa na tuzuiliwe kupita tupite njia zingine mpaka tufike,” said Raila.

The opposition leader also asked his supporters not to destroy property while protesting against the Kenya Kwanza government.

“Tulisema kila kitu ambayo tutafanya itakua kwa njia ya amani, tumeambia polisi hatutaki fujo, vile vile tunaambia watu wetu wote tukitembea hatugusi mali ya mtu mwigine, hakuna kuguza biashara ya mtu yeyote sisi haja yetu ni kutembea,” he stated.

He further asked his supporters to chant, “we are tired” as they move to Central Park.

“Tutatoka hapa kwa njia ya amani, tukisema tu ‘tumechoka’,” he added.

Azimio leaders are currently holding several Saba Saba rallies across the country. Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and his allies are holding a rally in Kathiani, Machakos County.

Narc Kenya Party leader Martha Karua is leading Azimio allied Mt Kenya politicians in Muranga while Former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Roots Party leader George Wajackoya, and DAP-K leader Eugene Wamalwa are leading protests in the Western region.
