Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has weighed into ODM leader Raila Odinga’s massive crowd that accompanied him to Nairobi's Central Business District on Friday.
This was during g the Saba Saba protests called by the ODM boss.
In a tweet, Ngunyi appeared shocked that the ODM boss had pulled such a crowd even as he went on to pass a message to President William Ruto.
The analyst said the crowd carried a significant message on the real situation in the ground adding that such cannot be mobilised using financial resources.
"Dear Ruto: This picture scared me. It is a ground swell. You cannot buy these multitudes. And you can kill the messenger, but not the message," he tweeted.

He went on to warn that Ruto should not pay attention to Raila as an obstacle to his administration saying it is the people who should be his number one focus.
"The enemy is not Raila. The enemy is the People. These people have nothing to lose except their chains. Don't be casual," he added.
In another warning shot, Ngunyi gave Ruto a case example of France warning him that revolutions start small.
This, he said, will later culminate into a bigger one that will be difficult to contain.

Raila massive crowd on Friday during the Saba Saba protests marked a big milestone in his push against Ruto regime.
Thousands of people gathered for the protest bringing the Nairobi Central Business District to a standstill.
The protests were distributed across the country with Azimio Leaders leading separate events countrywide.
Raila announced that the demos will resume Wednesday.
