In Nairobi CBD, businesses remained shut and streets were deserted as police officers were seen conducting patrols.
In Mlolongo, Machakos county, where mass protests were held last week, the streets remained deserted.
In Kisumu, most streets were deserted and supporters of the protests were pictured playing football on the road.
This happened as most shops remained closed for fear of vandalism. On some roads, bonfires were lit and stones were placed to block transport activities.
Homa Bay and Migori Counties, similar situations experienced in Kisumu were witnessed. Towns were deserted and some roads were blocked with bonfires and stones.
In Mombasa, the streets equally remained deserted and most shops closed. Pockets of confrontations were witnessed in Railways areas after police engaged a section of youths in running battles after they barricaded the road and lit Bonfires.
In Nakuru, police clashed with a section of protesters who tried to barricade the road at Miracle Shabab Area.
They had barricaded the road that leads to Nakuru CBD but police arrived in time to contain the situation.
Ponda Mali Area also saw some protesters turn up to sho revolt against President William Ruto's regime.
