Ahmednasir shared a video showing no police officer had been deployed to put Kalonzo under house arrest.

Just after reports went viral that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka had been placed under house arrest to block him from taking part in Azimio protests, Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi on Friday took to his Twitter to clarify the reports.

The Lawyer shared a video of him passing the gate of the former Vice President and captioned it:

"Hon Kalonzo Musyoka is my neighbour at Hardy. Drove thru the hood to check that he is OK and see whether it is true as alleged that the is under house arrest... and that police cars are stopping him from leaving his home...(see for yourselves, good people)."

The video shared by Lawyer Ahmednasir showed no police vehicle at the gate of the former vice president.

No person or vehicle was captured in a video recording at the gate of the former VP suggesting that the alleged house arrest could have been a hoax.

A day later, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka reacted to the tweet by Ahmmednasir saying:

"Good morning Ahmednasir my friend and neighbour. You should have tagged me in the post tweeted yesterday that appeared to show you cruising through the neighbourhood. My private security would have welcomed you in for a cup of tea," Kalonzo tweeted.

"More importantly, as a friend of mine, I'd have expected you - reminded of Jesus's second commandment "to love your neighbour as yourself" - to call and check up on my family's welfare."

In a rejoinder to Kalonzo's remarks, Ahmednasir said he would have done so, as requested by Kalonzo, but said he decided to pass after realising that the former Vice President was at peace and not in the situation earlier communicated.

He went on to endorse him for the Presidency in 2032.

"Your Excellency, I planned to check on you and pop in uninvited. But when I saw the serenity and eerie silence, I knew all was well and decided not to disturb your peace. This weekend, I am at a joint north of the Equator. InshaAllah, next week I will come to pay homage," the lawyer said.

"Our neighbourhood is blessed to have produced 3 deputy presidents, one president and obviously the next president in 2032 InshaAllah."

The wiper leader further responded to the Senior Counsel saying:

"You are always welcome to my home and, you also have my number. Have a serenely undisturbed weekend."
