Makadara Member of Parliament George Aladwa has slammed Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja for launching projects in his constituency behind his back.

Aladwa in a statement on Thursday, August 10 said it was ‘unprofessional’ for the Nairobi Governor to visit Makadara constituency without informing him as the elected Member of Parliament.

“Governor Sakaja, it's uncouth, unprofessional, and inappropriate for you to visit my constituency more than once without my solicitude as the elected Member of Parliament. The people of Makadara gave me faculty to represent, legislate and link them conscientiously in regard to the hierarchy of leadership,” Aladwa stated.

The ODM MP noted that he has a right to know what is happening in his constituency adding that he will not allow anything to take place in his constituency without consent.

“As their legitimate and lethal leader, I have the right to know and question what is happening in my constituency. Governor, may it sink unto your encephalon that we the people of Makadara shall not allow any business to be transacted without our concert,” Aladwa added.

Governor Sakaja on Thursday presided over the ground breaking ceremony of the Woodley Stadium in the Golf Course ward and the Joe Kadenge Stadium in Makongeni ward.

In an update via Twitter after the ground breaking ceremony of the Woodley Stadium Sakaja stated; “Hayawi Hayawi Huwa! Finally. Woodley Stadium. Construction works have commenced after ground breaking this morning. Lazima iWork.”
