The government through the Ministry of Interior has made changes in protocols for accessing the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) for the African Climate Summit (ACS).

Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo in a statement on Tuesday, September 5 said that access to Tsavo, Aberdares, and Lenana ballrooms will only be granted to the delegates accredited to enter the first ballroom (Tsavo).

Omollo noted that the rest of the ACS delegates will now access the venue through the entrance along Parliament Road.

The government also made a change of protocols for Ministers and diplomats who will now be required to access KICC through the entrance along Harambee Avenue.

“All Ministers, both local and foreign, Principal Secretaries, and Diplomatic Corps will access the venue through the entrance along Harambee Avenue,” read the statement in part.
