Four people succumbed to injuries after being involved in a road crash in Kajiado County on the evening of Friday, September 8.

A 14-seater vehicle lost control after one of its rear wheels detached along the Kajiado-Namanga road.

The Naekana PSV was ferrying passengers to various destinations from the Ilbisil trading centre.

Two people died on the sport with the remainder dying at the Kajiado Referral Hospital.

The vehicle was ferrying passengers fro the Ilbisil market.

Their bodies were taken to the facility's morgue.

Others were still undergoing treatment by the time of the press.

Law enforcers showed up at the scene with breakdown that towed the wreckage out.

This happened a day after another accident took with it eight lives.

The accident occurred on Friday morning in the Salama area, Makueni county along the Mombasa- Nairobi Highway.  

It involved a matatu shuttle and a lorry that collided head-on.  

The matatu, also owned by Naekana Sacco, was travelling from Loitoktok to Nairobi while the lorry was heading to Mombasa when the tragic accident occurred.  

Makueni Police Commander Barbanas Ng’eno confirmed the accident to a local publication and said those who sustained injuries were rushed to Kilungu sub-county hospital. 

Reports indicated that four people were critically injured.

The wreckage of the vehicles involved in the accident was towed to Salama Police Station.
