Royal Media Services (RMS) editorial director Linus Kaikai has joined the team at the Dennis Pritt Road-based media house to bid farewell to their colleague Victoria Rubadiri.
Kaikai lauded Rubadiri's A-game for the long she stayed at RMS's flagship product; Citizen TV.
The veteran journalist recalled the newscaster's professionalism right from when they were at the Nationa Media Group (NMG).
In his heartfelt message, Kaikai wished his outgoing junior colleague well as she proceeded to the next stage of her career.
"We nicknamed #SundayLive the ‘American Edition’ because this pair rolls Uncle Sam’s tongue just right! Sadly but proudly, Victoria Rubadiri proceeds to her next duty station after 6 years with Citizen TV. Vicky is an epic performer; a dutiful professional with whom we’ve worked across two media houses. Best wishes for your next assignment, Vicky!" posted Kaikai on X, (previously Twitter).

Rubadiri would be joining Citizen TV's top-of-the-cream personalities who have left the station in recent times.
She already tendered her resignation, with the farewell party in her honour having been held the previous weekend.
"It is true she is leaving. She has served the notice, and we held a farewell for her last week," a source told Nairobi Leo.
Rubadiri is slated to start her career with the US's Atlanta-based media giant Cable News Network (CNN).
She is to take up her new role as a correspondent for CNN.
Rubadiri joined Citizen in 2018, coming from Nation Media Group (NMG), where she had worked for NTV.
She joins other ranking newscasters and reporters who quit Citizen TV in less than a year to undertake new roles outside the newsroom.
The station lost Francis Gachuri to the Ministry of Interior, Hassan Mugambi to the Ministry of Defence and Jemutai Goin to the Office of the Speaker of the National Assembly.
