Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi met  Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Wednesday in Nakuru.

Video footage shared by the Office of the Prime CS showed the two leaders embracing each other even as they engaged briefly.

During their brief engagement, Mudavadi introduced the Principal Secretary of State Department for Parliamentary Affairs, in the Office of Prime CS, Aurelia Rono to the Wiper leader.

"Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi E.G.H has arrived in Nakuru county to preside over the multi-sectoral consultative workshop on the post-election electoral law reform agenda," a statement from the office of the Prime CS read in part.

"Hon Kalonzo Musyoka is also present at the Workshop organized by the Electoral Law and Governance Institute For Africa, ELGIA."

The two leaders met at Sarova Woodlands Hotel for a multi-sectoral consultative workshop.

The workshop is set to deliberate on the post-election electoral law reform agenda.

The conference has assembled practitioners and key stakeholders who are consultatively working towards adding value as the country considers electoral law reforms for the 2022–2027 election cycle.

Mudavadi attended the the event as the chief guest and he is expected to preside over it.

Kalonzo was invited to the forum by the Electoral Law and Governance Institute For Africa, the organisers of the workshop.

The two leaders have a history of walking together politically and they were in the National Super Alliance that backed Raila for the presidency in the 2017 polls.

They however took different paths in 2022 with Mudavadi supporting President William Ruto and Kalonzo sticking with Raila.
