"There is no one who was removed from office," DP Gachagua.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has broken his silence following a cabinet reshuffle by President William Ruto on Wednesday, October 4.

The Deputy President noted the Head of State just reorganized his team for the effective delivery of services.

"It is the prerogative of the President to organise and reorganise his team. President William Ruto just reorganised his team for effective delivery of services," Gachagu tweeted on Friday, October 6.

He further noted that there was no need to read too much into the cabinet reshuffle since no one was fired in the changes.

"There is no one who was removed from office. There is no need to read too much into the President's reshuffle.

"I kindly ask those who were given new mandates to work with diligence and commitment and ensure that their work is visible to the public," Gachagua stated.
