Justice Grace Nzioka was to deliver the judgement on whether Maribe and Jowie were guilty of the murder or not.

The ruling on whether Former Television Star Jacque Maribe and her Ex-Lover Jowie Irungu were involved in the murder of Monica Kimani has been postponed.

The ruling was set to be issued today, Friday, October 6, but it has been pushed to December 15.

Justice Grace Nzioka was to deliver the judgement but pushed it to the said date on the ground that she is sick.

The Judge is also scheduled to go on leave in November hence she will not be available to handle the matter.

Monica’s body was found at her Lamuria Gardens Apartment on Kitale Lane off Denis Pritt Road in Kilimani on Thursday, September 19, 2018.

Jowie was charged alongside Jacque Maribe for the murder in 2018.

The prosecution called 35 witnesses who testified against the two.

Jowie called one witness to defend him while Maribe called four witnesses to her defence. The two were put in their defence in March.

Jowie while defending herself told the court that she did not know Monica despite witnesses saying they saw him at her house on the day she was killed.

The prosecution however said Monica's DNA profile was generated from a brown short collected at Jowie's house in Langata where he lived with Maribe.
