“I move with a lot of satisfaction and humble contention for the work I have accomplished."

Public Service, Performance, and Delivery Management Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has handed over the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MITI) to CS Rebecca Miano.

In a statement via his X account on Wednesday, October 11, Kuria recounted his eleven months at MITI saying the experience has been a marathon for him.

He noted that he laid the foundation of economic revival in the country and attracted investors through the county aggregation and industrial parks.

“I have done the foundation and put this country into an Economic revival and take off. The wheels of production have started to roll as investors are ready to industrialize the country from all corners through our revolutionary County Aggregation and industrial parks (CAIPs),” the statement read in part.

CS Kuria noted that the trade negotiations he initiated with Indonesia, USA, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other countries will see Kenya move from an importing one to an export Giant.

He also said he leaves MITI with satisfaction, expressing confidence that the team he leaves behind will continue with his dream.

“I move with a lot of satisfaction and humble contention for the work I have accomplished and happy for I am confident the team that I have left behind will continue with the dream that we had,” Kuria stated.

The former Gatundu MP at the same time thanked President William Ruto for assigning him to the Ministry of Public Service, Performance, and Delivery Management.

CS Kuria vowed to coordinate all inter-ministerial projects and unlock any wall interfering with the speedy delivery of services and projects to Kenyans.
