Senator Cheruyot dared CS Kuria to confirm whether he wanted a fight with parliamentarians.

Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot has fired back at CS Moses Kuria after he included him in a list of 13 Senators he claimed were being used to elbow out Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza.

In a response to the claims made by the CS, Cheruiyot dared him to confirm whether he wanted a fight with parliamentarians.

"Are you really sure you want a fight with parliament and parliamentarians right now?" he posed.

The CS while defending Governor Mwangaza against Impeachment said the evidence adduced in the Senate so far had vindicated her from ouster bid.

"I have studied carefully the issues presented against Governor Kawira. The most serious offense is that she does what Kukuyus call Kuangalia watu manyiira. That offense can take you to hell but not to jail. Certainly not a ground for Impeachment," the CS said.

He went on to address 13 senators saying they should not allow to be misled to impeach the governor.

The 13 senators listed are Aaron Cheruiyot (Kericho), Jackson Mandago (Uasin Gishu), Hillary Sigei (Bomet), Munyi Alexander Mundigi (Embu), Samson Cherargei (Nandi), Seki Lenku Ole Kanar (Kajiado), Fatuma Dullo (Isiolo), Abdul Haji (Garissa), Kamau Murango (Kirinyaga), Wahome Wamatinga (Nyeri),  Kathuri Murungi (Meru), Wambua (Kitui) and Kajwan’g (Homabay)

"Stop It. You can see from evidence you are being misled," CS Kuria said.
