"Please ignore the trending video of an unfortunate situation at an airport in a neighboring country."

The Ugandan Civil Aviation Authority (Uganda CAA) has mocked Kenya over a leaking roof incident at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Kenya was recently on the spot after a video of a leaking JKIA roof went viral drawing mixed reactions.

The video found its way to Uganda prompting the country's Civil Aviation Authority to break silence on it.

While sharing the Video on its X platform, the neighboring Country's  Authority described the scene as unfortunate even as it sought to say it was not of its Entebbe Aiport.

Though Uganda CAA did not mention Kenya by name, it stated that the incident is of a neighboring country claiming that some people were using the video to claim it was of its Entebbe Airport.

"Please ignore the trending video of an unfortunate situation at an airport in a neighboring country, which some WhatsApp users have wrongly attributed to Entebbe International Airport. Note that this is not Entebbe International Airport," the Authority stated.

The post went viral on social media with Kenyans trooping to the comment section to react to what it meant.
