"We appeal to members of the public who have been victims of phone snatching to come to Kilimani Police Station and see if they can find their phones."

Police officers from Kilimani Police Station have arrested two notorious thieves linked to the stealing of over 200 phones and computers.

The two suspects were apprehended after a woman whose phone was stolen reported the matter to the Kilimani Police Station.

The officers then raided the two suspects and recovered the stolen items. The officers also seized a motorcycle suspected to have been used by the suspects.

Kilimani OCPD Moss Ndiwa called on any Kenyans who might have lost their phones to visit the station to see if they can find their phones.

"We appeal to members of the public who have been victims of phone snatching to come to Kilimani Police Station and see if they can find their phones because this station covers the whole of Nairobi," Ndiwa stated.

The Kilimani OCPD at the same time said the police are working to ensure phones stolen within Nairobi are recovered.

“As a police service we will ensure that all phones stolen within any area are recovered especially to the owners who receive and we are on it in this festive season when thieves are terrorizing the public,” he stated.

Ndiwa further issued a stern warning to individuals behind the criminal activity saying they are going to be dismantled.

“It is a warning to them that we are now very serious on this matter and any cartel we are going to dismantle it,” the Kilimani OCPD added.
