Wacheni vitisho baridi - Senator Murkomen tells Tuju and Murathe

Elgeyo-Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen is breathing fire after reports that the Jubilee party wants to discipline Deputy President William Ruto for associating with the rebranded United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

This is after it emerged that Jubilee Party's National Management Committee held a seven-hour meeting where it resolved to punish DP Ruto for ditching his party in favor of UDA.

The Jubilee Party vice-chair David Murathe mentioned that those advancing the interests of UDA would lose their seats including DP Ruto.

"Those leaders pushing for the agenda of UDA, including the DP himself, will lose their seats. Just wait, things are cooking,” Murathe warned.

However, in an early-morning tweet, Murkomen dared Jubilee Secretary-General Raphael Tuju to summon the partly Leader President Uhuru Kenyatta for associating with ODM.

"I dare Tuju and Murathe to jointly summon Jubilee Party Leader for supporting ODM and Kipchumba Murkomen for supporting UDA to the Party Headquarters to answer charges of disloyalty. Wacheni vitisho baridi.

"The Sad truth is that a President, Deputy President, Governor and Deputy Governor cannot lose his or her seat even if he or she is expelled from the Party that sponsored him or her to office," Murkomen tweeted.

DP Ruto and his allies have openly supported and associated themselves with the newly rebranded UDA.

On the other hand, DP Ruto has blamed ODM leader Raila Odinga for Jubilee's failure to deliver on its election promises.

"You are squarely to blame for the failure of this administration to deliver on our mandate because you came and overturned our priorities and changed our focus, destroyed our party. Today we don't even have a party," DP said.
