Governor Sakaja described Nairobi as a hotbed of talent adding that several young people are creating content in the Nairobi CBD since he lifted the ban that restricted photography and filming at the city center.

“The digital economy has a huge potential of being a lucrative economic frontier for our youth,” he added.

Sakaja further mentioned that his government is planning to set up 17 recording studios in each constituency in Nairobi.

The Nairobi Governor stated that the recording studios will be either in social halls or sub-county offices.

“We have also made proposals to have 17 recording studios in each and every constituency for our musicians to access either in our social halls or sub-county administrative offices,” Governor Sakaja stated.
