Wanted policewoman Caroline Kangogo has shot herself dead.

According to the police, Kangogo murdered herself at her parents' home in Elgeyo Marakwet.

"She shot herself in their bathroom using a pistol she had," police told a local daily on Friday.

According to police, they narrowed down on her on Thursday night.

Kangogo went missing over a week ago after she reportedly murdered John Ogweno; a police officer at Nakuru.

As the police trailed her down for the murder, she allegedly lured another man named Peter Ndwiga to a hotel in Juja and later murdered him.

Following the two murders, DCI issued a statement terming her a wanted cop who is armed and dangerous.

“We are cautioning members of the public, especially men, to be on the lookout for the rogue officer, who is luring men to her trap before executing them in cold blood,” DCI said.

After the statement, the police formed an elite squad to hunt for Kangogo amid claims that she was traversing the country going after her next targets.

As the search intensified, her parents and top lawyers in the country urged her to surrender, but their pleas fell on deaf ears.

Her run has now come to an end after her body was found at her parent's home in Elgeyo Marakwet County.
