A fatal road accident involving a 14-seater Bungoma Sacco matatu and a lorry has occurred in Salgaa, Nakuru County.
The accident is said to have happened near Nakuru TTC around 3 am on Friday, December 4, leaving several people dead.
The driver of the matatu and a woman who had been seated at the co-driver seat died on the spot.
According to pictures seen by Nairobi Leo about the accident, debris of the two vehicles occupied the better of the road at the scene of the tragedy; an indicator that the accident was terrible.
Details about the exact number of people who have lost their lives have not been revealed.
Commuters plying the route have been advised to use the Njoro-Molo route to avoid a traffic snarl-up that has been occasioned by the tragedy.
