Kalonzo and Mudavadi walked out of Mudavadi's meeting at the Bomas of Kenya after MPs allied to Deputy President William Ruto and United Democratic Alliance (UDA) walked in.

Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi has taken a swipe at Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and his KANU counterpart Gideon Moi after storming out of his meeting.

Kalonzo and Mudavadi walked out of Mudavadi's meeting at the Bomas of Kenya after MPs allied to Deputy President William Ruto and United Democratic Alliance (UDA) walked in.

Mudavadi has since spoken on the same noting that he is free to talk with anyone, adding that he cannot disassociate himself with DP Ruto because of the duo.

"If you fell out with Ruto, don't force me to do the same. The constitution is very clear, I am free to talk to anyone

"They ran way when they saw Ruto at Bomas, the people are the ones who decide," Mudavadi said.

Following the controversial walkout, the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) issued a statement noting that the coalition honoured the invitation to attend the meeting out of respect, further congratulating Mudavadi for being fronted as ANC’s flag bearer.

“We (OKA) have today walked out of Mudavadi’s ‘earthquake’ meeting. Our principals Hon Kalonzo Musyoka and Hon Gideon Moi out of respect honoured his invitation as a co-principal to attend the BOMAS event and congratulated him for being nominated by his party to go and look for more friends,” read part of the statement.

OKA noted that Gideon and Kalonzo were forced to storm out of the meeting after DP Ruto showed up, adding that they have parted ways with ANC over its link with UDA.

“Unfortunately, we have to part ways since some of his friends are not our friends and we are unsafe with them. We are therefore moving to higher grounds where Kenyans are safer

“It is time to move forward, it is time to end the nasty political games. We would like to wish Hon. Mudavadi the best of luck as he joins his other partners. There is no room for damages,” the statement concluded.
