  • Barasa insisted that only DP Ruto can give Kenyans a better life when he forms the next government.

Kimilili Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa has said that ODM leader Raila Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja movement is a car that has no engine.

Speaking on Saturday, the MP who is an ally of Deputy President William Ruto that Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetangula left with their wheels, and Azimio can’t move.

Barasa insisted that only DP Ruto can give Kenyans a better life when he forms the next government.

“Azimio kwa sasa ni gari bila engine, Hon @MusaliaMudavadi na @Wetangulam vilevile washatoa magurudumu haliwezi songa! Maisha bora kwa wakenya yatapatikana tu katika serikali mpya ya Kenya kwanza ikiongozwa na @WilliamsRuto,” the MP said.

This is another of his continued attacks on former Prime Minister Raila Odinga who is Deputy President William Ruto’s main challenger in the coming elections.

This comes a few days after the DP joined hands with Mudavadi and Wetangula who both left the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) to work with him.

The leaders who work under the Kenya Kwanza coalition have been holding joint rallies across the country, in their bid to popularize the alliance and drum up support for Ruto’s presidential bid.
