President Uhuru Kenyatta is on Wednesday expected to hold his Sagana III meeting in Nyeri county.

The meeting will be held at Sagana State Lodge.

Over 6,000 people are expected to attend the function.

It is said that the President is set to unveil what went wrong between him and his deputy William Ruto.

The meeting is set to be attended by Opinion leaders, youths, women groups, religious leaders and local leaders allied to Uhuru.

President Uhuru is at the same time set to explain why he opted to back the ODM leader Raila Odinga for the presidency yet he pledged to back his deputy William Ruto for the top seat.

Uhuru is also expected to come clean on a number of the false narratives being peddled against him even as he unveils what he has done for the Mt Kenya region that greatly voted for him for the presidency.

Leaders allied to the deputy president have not been invited to the function.

The Sagana III meeting comes a few days to the ODM and Jubilee NDC that will be held on Friday and Saturday.

The NDC will culminate in a joint meeting that will seeĀ  Raila declared the Azimio La Umoja presidential candidate.
