Why UDA NDC Went Off While Being Aired Live

The United Democratic Alliance party NDC is being held at the Kasarani Gymnasium, Nairobi.

The event was being aired live across various Televisions and YouTube channels.

However, the event went off from being broadcasted live leaving a section of Kenyans with question on what went wrong.

According to UDA NDC MC Jasper Muthomi, popularly known as MC Jessy, they had requested the media to give them time to iron out in house issues before going live.

Journalists were therefore locked out temporarily to allow for internal deliberations.

"The Media as I had requested you, you will give us the time we handle two, three issues before we come again and proceed," he said.

By the time of going off, the Seats of other party leaders among them Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) and Moses Wetang'ula (Ford Kenya) remained empty as they too will be called in after the meeting.

The UDA NDC is expected to ratify a host of proposals before meeting the rest of Kenya Kwanza leaders and affiliate party for a brief meeting.

The interruption of live broadcasts has caused jitters among UDA followers who felt that some mischief had resulted in the event not being aired live.

It is important for the UDA supporters to know that it is the UDA party that requested privacy.

Ruto arrived at the venue around 10:45 and was flanked by his wife Rachael Ruto and a host of the UDA leaders.
