The UDA NDC MC Jasper Muthomi aka Jessy called the guests as they made a special entrance into Kasarani.

Among the guests who made a special appearance at the event include Safina Party presidential aspirant Jimi Wanjigi, Mwangi Kiunjuri, William Kabgogo, Moses Kuria, Musalia Mudavadi, and Moses Wetangula. 

The guests received a Rapturous welcome from the crowd as they sang 'yote yawezekana bila uhuru.'

Deputy President William Ruto was endorsed as the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) presidential candidate at Kasarani.

Ruto was endorsed after a successful vetting and interview process held last week.

The deputy president was picked as the most preferred candidate ahead of Ms Tracy Wanjiru, a Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology student, and Mr Japhnel Orina.

DP Ruto will head into the Kenya Kwanza Alliance as the UDA presidential candidate, ahead of negotiations with ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, and FORD-Kenya leader Moses Wetangula, for the coalition's top seat.
