Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka now says that President Uhuru Kenyatta is among the people he trusts.
Addressing Wiper aspirants on Wednesday, Kalonzo told Mt. Kenya people not to fall for the negative publicity being peddled by Deputy President Wiliam Ruto and his troops against Kenyatta.
"You can’t have a human being better than President Uhuru Kenyatta. That's why, of all the political leaders, I trust him because you have time to discuss," Kalonzo stated.
Kalonzo urged central people to look at the development Kenyatta had done in the region yet they were abusing and insulting him.
"I want to talk to the hearts of the people in Central Kenya, not your minds. Look at what President Uhuru Kenyatta has done for you in terms of infrastructure," he said.
The Wiper leader noted that if a similar development had been done in the lower Easter region, they would be adoring him.
He took a swipe at Ruto questioning why he had not resigned as the DP after accepting to be the presidential candidate of UDA.
