Sabina was the first candidate to meet the 7-member panel tasked with vetting and selecting the running mate for Raila Odinga.

Murang'a women rep Sabina Chege has revealed the questions asked after attending the Azimio running mate interviews at Serena hotel.

Sabina was the first candidate to meet the 7-member panel tasked with vetting and selecting the running mate for Raila Odinga.

Addressing the press on Monday, May 9, Chege noted that the conversation was interesting.

According to the women rep, the conversation revolved around the strengths she brought to the presidential candidate and her own strength if she was to deputize Odinga.

She noted that the conversation was easy and relaxing as she thanked Jubilee for nominating her for the running mate position.

"For me I bring energy, I'm a young person, also the gender and from Mt Kenya, especially Murang'a County. In Mt Kenya, we have a very large vote basket. I also appeal across the region and I have connections after being in parliament for the last ten years,'' Sabina told the press as she highlighted her strengths.

The Murang'a women rep noted that Whatever the outcome, she would respect the decision of the panel.

By the time of going to the press, NARC Kenya leader Martha Karua and Governor Hassan Joho had arrived at Serena hotel for the interviews.
