Kalonzo Musyoka on Tuesday faced the 7-member Azimio panel choosing Raila Odinga's running mate.

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has sent a message to Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka moments after he faced the Azimio panel selecting Raila Odinga’s running mate.

Taking it to Facebook on Tuesday, May 10, Kuria urged the former Vice President to ditch the Azimio coalition party for the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

The vocal lawmaker told the Wiper boss that Kenya Kwanza was ready for him and he should grab the historical moment and run away from Azimio.

“Pole sana my friend Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka. Maisha iko hivyo. Umechezwa. Wamesema ufanye unvyotaka ni soko huru. Now grab this historic moment. Run! My brother Run! Kenya Kwanza is ready for you,” Kuria stated.

His sentiments came after Kalonzo explained why he had changed his mind to attend the interview after heavily declining earlier.

The Wiper boss told the press at Serena Hotel that he had opted to face the 7-member team panel so that he wouldn’t give anyone a reason to accuse him of boycotting the session.

“The decision to come was my decision because I realized we didn’t want to give anybody an excuse whatsoever to say ’aligomea kuja’” Kalonzo told the press.

“It was a wonderful conversation and it was a good opportunity for me to come and greet the archbishop Okoth and other elders there. I had to take that decision," he added.
