In a statement via Twitter, the legislator claimed that the former Vice President has a problem after facing the 7-member panel.

Despite the criticism, She welcomed the Wiper party leader to the Kenya Kwanza coalition.

"Kalonzo my learned friend, I have always thought when they called you Watermelon, they were being mean. I have no doubt now you have a problem after you attended Azimio interview today. You deserve mistreatment but Karibu Kenya Kwanza. Writing on the Wall," she said.

The Wiper party leader caught Kenyans by surprise after attending the interview which he had vehemently opposed stating that he won't face the panel.

Explaining his move, Kalonzo stated that it was his decision to attend the interview adding that he didn't want to give anyone any excuse.

"The decision to come was my decision because I realized we didn't want to give anybody an excuse whatsoever to say I did not attend. It was a wonderful conversation and it was a good opportunity for me to come and greet the archbishop Okoth and other elders there. I had to take that decision," he stated.
