Bodies of two people were discovered inside a car said to have been stolen from Lucky Summer, Nairobi County.

The bodies had been stuffed inside the car that was abandoned in the Gathecha area.

The owner of the stolen car Jeremiah Malaba Nasikungu had reported the case at Lucky Summer police station on May 22. The car had been stolen on the night of May 21.

He visited the station on Wednesday to follow up on the case and it is then that he said to have received a phone call from a friend who informed him that his vehicle had been abandoned in the Gathecha area.

“Nasikungu immediately rushed to the scene in the company of police officers and on arrival at the scene identified the vehicle to be his although the front and rear number plates had been removed,” read a police report as quoted by a local news website.

It is then that they rush together with the police at the scene.

Upon accessing the car, they discovered the two dead bodies stuffed inside.

The bodies of the deceased have been moved to the City mortuary awaiting identification and postmortem.
